LO4: Debugging

The first Issue I had was making the bowling pin destructible, in order to do this i made another bowling pin and placed it in Unreal, I then added the blueprints so that pins would disappear when hit by the ball.

The second problem that occurred was the end game text, this proved to be a problem as the text was too small and didn't appear at the correct time, however this was fixed with the use of blueprints,

The final problem we encountered was the appearance of the pin, for an unknown reason the bowling pin was not smooth, this was fixed within Unreal.

Starter

So far I have created a number of assets. Creating assets such as the bowling balls and pins are quite easy, however creating the characters is proving to be quite difficult. Despite this I am still keeping up to my production schedule and I intend to keep doing this by working on the assets until they are created.

Maya box creation

I followed a tutorial in which I had to use Maya to create a crate.
Maya is proving to be fairly simple to use, however there are many tools that can sometimes be a struggle to use.

First thoughts on Unreal Engine 4

After using Unreal 4 for the first time, I think it is quite easy and fairly simple to operate. The tutorials I followed were good but lacked explanation in some parts, however I was able to gain a good understanding of the tools in the software. I would use the software to design all of my assets and characters, After designing a room with floors, windows and doors I think creating my game will be easy to create.

Destiny:
The game assets: Trees, grass, guns, NPC enemies, the ground/terrain, spaceships and other vehicles and robots.
The target audience of the game is 16+, and people who enjoy FPS games, such as Call Of Duty, Battle field and Halo.
The game has a lot of violence in it, examples of this are in the combat when you can use guns and
